Using Star Fruit in Savory Recipes
You can use it in recipes for soups, salads and recipes for cakes or to make curry. Because of its attractive star shape when cut in half carambola often used as a garnish. You will need:
* 2 diced tomatoes
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 2 cloves garlic, sliced

How:
Heat oil over high heat in large saucepan and add the shrimp shells. Cook for a few minutes, stirring all the time. Ginger, garlic and onion and cook a few minutes, or until the shrimp shells are golden brown. Add water, tomatoes, peppers and lemongrass and simmer.
