Watch out staying up late can make the added fat!
Watch out, staying up late can make the added fat! - For some people, staying up late is certainly not a stranger. Many people are willing awake until nighttime for a variety of reasons, ranging from overtime, studying, traveling, or because it likes to party. A study reveals that the habit of staying up late can promote weight loss because most people often snacking and eating junk food when staying up.
These results were found after researchers conducted observations of 225 adults. Participants who stayed up until four in the morning to consume 550 more calories. In addition, this study also revealed that people who slept only four hours (starting at four to eight in the morning) was gaining weight than participants who slept 10 hours every night.
Not only consume more calories, people who often stay up also tend to eat more fatty foods. In this research note men are more likely to gain weight than women.
In addition to finding the possibility of weight gain due to staying up late, these results also provide support for the importance of sufficient sleep for eight to 10 hours every day, as reported by the NY Daily News.
Separate research published earlier this year also found that sleeping for five hours each night during the weekdays with snacks is not good for weight loss. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of Colorado showed that participants gained weight rapidly during five days in such circumstances.

Can Premature Ejaculation Ruin Your Sex Life Heres the Straight Scoop How You Can Last Longer!
By Lloyd Lester, Creator, EjaculationByCommand.com
If you want to be the kind of superb lover who gets to enjoy new exciting heights of sexual pleasure and keep his woman sexually fulfilled anytime, anywhere, then keep reading this article.
Can premature ejaculation ruin your sex life?
Well, it depends. You see, premature ejaculation only becomes an issue if it is causing a great deal of distress or discomfort for BOTH your partner and you. If your woman gets an orgasm even if you ejaculate within 2 minutes, and is happy with it, there is no need to fret over your seemingly short performance. In fact, there are many premature ejaculators who regularly bring their partners to an orgasm with oral sex or even sufficient foreplay before intercourse. If you can fulfill your woman before intercourse, it does not matter how long you last!
But of course, lasting longer can only help your sexual relationship
Indeed, sex will be much more satisfying if a guy can engage in intercourse for a full 10 to 15 minutes without ejaculating (that is how long it takes on average for a woman to reach an orgasm through intercourse). The sexual arousal that slowly builds up during penetrative sex will provide a far more exquisite sexual pleasure, and can eventually lead to a titillating vaginal orgasm - which is not possible if a guy ejaculates within 2 to 4 minutes of intercourse.
The real truth about premature ejaculation and how to deal with it
Premature ejaculation is far more common than you would probably think. So there is no need to blame yourself for not being able to last long enough in bed. Premature ejaculation is commonly defined as lasting no more than 3 minutes of vaginal penetration more than 50% of the time. But heres the thing: while being able to last for hours during sex is probably rare, premature ejaculation is actually easy to control without medical or professional help.
The key to putting a stop to early ejaculation is by learning how your body behaves at each stage of your sexual response cycle. Simply put, if you are quick to ejaculate, you must learn to recognize your tipping point and how to reduce your sexual arousal. By learning how to stay below this tipping point, you will keep your sexual arousal in check and gain superior control over your ejaculatory lexes.

Lloyd Lester is the creator of "Ejaculation By Command", a complete, step-by-step blueprint to help men permanently end premature ejaculation and last longer in bed. Learn how you can develop superior sexual endurance and enjoy transformative sex by visiting: Ejaculation By Command.

Almonds Can Prevent Diabetes and Assist Weight Loss Efforts
(Article first published as Include Almonds to Lower Risk of Diabetes, Assist Weight Loss Efforts on Technorati.)
It’s hard to imagine that a natural food that tastes as good as an almond can have such a profound beneficial effect on health. Regular almond consumption is shown to lower the risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease in part due to the high fiber content and concentration of monounsaturated fats.
Post meal blood sugar spikes are known to contribute to the development of metabolic disorders including diabetes and initiate the chain of events that lead to cardiovascular disease. Any intervention that can help to minimize the post meal rush of blood sugar will reduce the risk from these conditions.
Almonds are high in protein, fiber and healthy monounsaturated fats that are all known to influence how our body stores and metabolizes fat for energy. Almonds are rich in complex carbohydrates that require significant energy to be broken down by our body. The International Journal of Obesity published the results of a study that shows almonds are “a feasible option for consideration and have a potential role in the public health implications of obesity.” The study concluded that almonds provide a sensation of satiety and are beneficial for people trying to lose weight.
Readmore...

Further research demonstrates that almonds contribute to accelerated fat metabolism and can reduce the incidence of overweight and obesity by influencing healthy blood glucose control and insulin response. Just a handful of almonds every day can improve your health profile and lower the risk of serious disease.
Almonds Help to Stabilize Blood Sugar Spikes

The results of a study conducted at the Loma Linda University’s School of Public Health and published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition shows how almond consumption can blunt the effect of high blood sugar, prevent insulin resistance and lower levels of oxidized LDL cholesterol. The study involved 65 prediabetic adults that were broken into two groups to determine the effect of almond consumption. The control group ate a healthy diet low in carbohydrates for 16 weeks and excluded all nuts. The intervention group consumed the same diet but included 20% of total calories from almonds.
Blood analysis showed that the almond group had significantly better insulin levels and improved markers for insulin resistance and beta-cell function. The study authors concluded that the high fiber content and unsaturated fats in almonds “help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.”
Almonds in the Battle Against Obesity

Almonds are a perfectly balanced food source that can benefit health. This powerful seed has a balanced ratio of proteins, carbohydrates and fats that are in perfect alignment with human macronutrient requirements. Nutritional studies confirm that almonds regulate blood sugar and prevent insulin resistance that lowers the risk from diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Additionally, almonds help regulate fat metabolism and can be used as a tool to assist weight loss. Include a handful of almonds every day to reap the many health benefits.

The 10 Cheapest Healthiest Foods Money Can Buy
Whether you’re broke and waiting for the next paycheck, or simply trying to cut back on your grocery bill, it’s vital to choose foods that give you the healthiest bang for your hard-earned buck.
These ten foods do just that. They’re nutritional powerhouses for pennies on the dollar. Many could be considered superfoods, and have long been staples of frugal households. I included almost all of them (sorry, lentils) for CHGs $25 Challenge, and you’ll see that Hillbilly Housewife uses quite a few in her famous $45 Emergency Menu, as well.
To compile the final list, there were three main criteria. Each food is:
Of course, your opinion on some of these foods (particularly the first) might differ, and I’d love to hear what you would have included instead. But first, before we get started, two quick notes:
BANANAS
Are there better-rounded fruits? Absolutely. Berries will single-handedly protect you from every known disease and fight off communism. But they are inordinately pricey little buggers (especially out of season), and for the money, don’t compare to a good ol’ Cavendish banana. Lesson: Always listen to the monkeys.
Serving size: One large (5oz) banana.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.33 each
Good source of: Fiber (14% of a 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin C (20%), Vitamin B6 (25%), Potassium (14%), Manganese (18%)
Suggested recipe: Three-Ingredient Banana, Honey, and Peanut Butter Ice Cream
BEANS
We’ve discussed beans ad nauseum here on CHG, and for good reason: there are fewer cheaper sources of protein and fiber found on Earth. (Maybe Mars?) Their mutability means you can pack them into just about any recipe, and with a range of flavors and sizes, everyone’s palate will be equally pleased. Plus: hilarious farting.
Serving size: Half a cup of cooked black beans.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost, canned: $0.21 per serving ($0.75/15oz can)
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost, dried: $0.15 per serving ($1.50/1lb bag)
Good source of: Fiber (30% of a 2000-calorie diet), Iron (10%), Protein (15%), Thiamin (14%), Folate (32%), Magnesium (15%), Phosphorus (12%), Manganese (19%)
Suggested recipe: Black Bean Soup with a Fried Egg on Top
CANNED TOMATOES
Canned tomatoes are here not as a snack or a stand-alone food, but an ingredient. Simply, they’re the basis for innumerable recipes across countless cuisines; sauces, soups, stews, and chilis wouldn’t exist was it not for the humble tomato. And yeah, if you’re the type to dig in a can of Progresso with a spoon, that’s okay too.
Serving size: One cup canned whole peeled tomatoes
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.48 per serving ($1.67/28oz can)
Good source of: Fiber (10% of a 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin C (37%), Iron (13%), Vitamin B6 (13%), Potassium (13%), Sodium (14%)
Suggested recipe: Tomato and Bread Soup
CARROTS
Bugs Bunny was on to something. But while carrots can be eaten raw to great merriment, they’re also excellent roasted, braised, in soups, and mixed with other foods. Hint: for snacking purposes, skip the bags of baby carrots ($1.50), buy a pound of full growns ($0.66), and chop ‘em up yourself. You save $0.84 every time.
Serving size: One cup raw carrot sticks.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.13 per serving ($0.50/lb)
Good source of: Fiber (14% of a USDA 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin A (408%), Vitamin C (12%), Vitamin K (20%), Potassium (11%)
Suggested recipe: Honey-glazed Roasted Carrots
FROZEN SPINACH
Apparently, Popeye was on to something, too. (What is it with these cartoon characters?) Spinach is just about the healthiest food you can buy, and it’s easy to sneak little bits into a plethora of different dishes. Here, I’m going for frozen spinach over fresh for two reasons. First, it’s generally cheaper, and you can find better sales. Second, it takes up less space. For those of us with limited refrigerator storage, that’s important.
Serving size: Five ounces unprepared frozen spinach.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.50 per serving ($1.00/10oz bag)
Good source of: Fiber (16% of a 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin A (333%), Vitamin C (13%), Calcium (18%), Iron (15%), Protein (10-11%), Vitamin K (660%), Vitamin E (20%), Riboflavin (18%), Vitamin B6 (12%), Folate (51%), Magnesium (26%),. Manganese (50%), Copper (10%), Potassium (14%), Selenium (112%)
Suggested recipe: Italian White Bean and Spinach Soup
LENTILS
Full disclosure: I knew lentils were good for you, but didn’t have any idea HOW good until researching this piece. And $0.11 per serving? My god. No wonder they’re eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner around the world.
Serving size: One-quarter cup of lentils, unprepared.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.11 per serving ($0.79/1lb bag)
Good source of: Fiber (58% of a 2000-calorie diet), Iron (20%), Protein (25%), Thiamin (28%), Vitamin B6 (13%), Folate (57%), Pantothenic Acid (10%), Magnesium (14%), Phosphorus (22%), Potassium (13%), Zinc (15%), Copper (12%), Manganese (32%)
Suggested recipe: Red Lentil Soup with Lemon
OATMEAL
Here’s a riddle: what comes in a can, goes in a muffin, or can be boiled with raisins? (If you said “bunnies,” you are sick in the head.) It’s oatmeal, folks! High in fiber and all kinds of exciting minerals, it’s appropriate for every meal. Combine it with sweeter flavors for breakfast, or soy sauce and scallions for a strangely delicious lunch.
Serving size: Half a cup unprepared old-fashioned rolled oats:
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.12 per serving ($3.69/42oz canister)
Good source of: Fiber (16% of a 2000-calorie diet), Protein (10%), Thiamin (12%), Iron (10%), Magnesium (14%), Phosphorus (11%), Zinc (10%), Manganese (73%), Selenium (16%)
Suggested recipe: Banana Oatmeal Muffins
PEANUT BUTTER
Throughout childhood, peanut butter was as universal as Sesame Street and possibly even my mother. Even today, spooning some out of the jar is a good time, and adding a dollop into stew or oatmeal positively feels like a treat. And though PB is high in fat, it’s a good kind.
Serving size: Two tablespoons chunky peanut butter.
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.15 per serving ($2.39/18oz jar)
Good source of: Calories (9% of a 2000 calorie diet), fat (25%), fiber (10%), protein (15%, Niacin (22%), vitamin E (10%), Manganese (29%), phosphorus (10%), Magnesium (13%)
Suggested recipe: Indonesian Bean Stew
PEAS
Yes, peas.
Serving size: Half a cup frozen peas, unprepared
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.23 per serving ($3.00/2lb bag)
Good source of: Fiber (12% of a 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin A (22%), Vitamin C (20%), Vitamin K (23%), Thiamin (11%), Manganese (11%)
Suggested recipe: Easy Pea Soup
SWEET POTATOES
Rounding out the list, it’s the tastiest of all natural starches: the sweet potato (or yam, if you’re feeling semantic). Sweet potatoes have all the benefits and cooking versatility of regular potatoes, plus lots of fiber, a metric ton of Vitamin A, and an alluring orange color. Enter their world, and you will never want to leave.
Serving size: One cup cubed (about 4.75 oz).
Peapod/Stop & Shop cost: $0.50 per potato
Good Source of: Fiber (16% of 2000-calorie diet), Vitamin A (377%), Vitamin B6 (14%), Potassium (13%), Copper (10%), Manganese (17%)
Suggested recipe: Sweet Potato and Chickpea Puree
Readers, what do you think of the list? What would you add? What would you leave off? The comment section is ready and waiting.

Estrogen Levels Can Help Detect Lung Cancer
Estrogen Levels Can Help Detect Lung Cancer | Researchers have long known that tobacco smoke is a cause of lung cancer number one. However, recent findings show that estrogen may also play a role on disease.
This is not the first type of cancer associated with estrogen because this hormone is also known to increase breast cancer and other gynecological cancers.
The new research was presented at the Annual Meeting AACR 2012 by the scientists at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

If estrogen levels are high, may indicate that the person is more vulnerable to lung cancer or have a worse prognosis.
"We are confident that levels of toxic metabolites of estrogen can later be useful in predicting risk or prognosis lung cancer in a person," said the researcher.
To investigate, Jing Peng, a partner in the laboratory Margie L. Clapper, PhD, examined the lungs healthy mice and found that the lung contains high levels of estrogen metabolites are known as 4-hydroxy estrogen (4-Ohe) and are carcinogenic.
Specifically, 4-Ohe help enable the process to enhance cell growth and generates free radicals that can damage cells.
When researchers expose tobacco smoke for 8 weeks in mice, researchers found that levels of 4-Ohe have increased.
"We believe that these estrogen metabolites can damage cells and contribute to lung cancer," Clapper said as quoted by Science Daily, Wednesday (04/04/2012).
Female mice have a number of 4-Ohe doubled in the lungs, compared with control male rats after estrogen levels in total performed. However, whether this condition will also occur in humans remains to be investigated.
"When lung cancer is more common for women, the number of passive smokers or non-smoker who developed lung cancer actually occurs more frequently men than women," said Clapper.
In the future, Peng and Clapper hope these results will help researchers develop new therapies that target the estrogen metabolism as a way to treat or prevent lung cancer. [detik.com]

Chocolate can protect against tooth decay
Health for human | Yesterday after I eat coklat.teman I say that chocolate is not good for oral health. finally I was curious and started looking for the truth about it ... until finally I found the information that turned out ... Chocolate can protect against tooth decay. Direct read more info okay.

Researchers have found that chocolate can prevent damage to the tooth. This was so successful in combating decay that scientists believe are several components that may one day be added to mouthwash or toothpaste.
The study, conducted by researchers at Osaka University in Japan found that parts of cocoa beans, the main ingredient of chocolate, thwart mouth bacteria and tooth decay.
They found that the skin of cocoa beans - the exterior of the bean which usually goes to waste in chocolate production - has anti-bacterial effect on the mouth and can fight effectively against plaque and other harmful agents.
Tooth decay occurs when bacteria in the mouth turns into acid, which damages the surface of the teeth and cause dental caries.
Japanese scientists have discovered that chocolate is less harmful than many other sweet foods, as antibacterial agents in cocoa beans offset high levels of sugar.
After three months, the study found that the rates with a high sugar diet had a 14 hole average compared with only six cavities for those who received skin cocoa beans in their diet.
The researchers now plan to test their findings in humans.
Speaking to the magazine New Scientist, Takashi Ooshima, from Osaka University, say their findings could lead to new treatments for tooth decay.
"It may be possible to use a mouthwash CBH extracts, or supplements for a toothpaste."
It could even be put back into the chocolate to make it better for the teeth, he said
"They certainly have an effect but good oral hygiene, rather than eating lots of chocolate, is the way to good healthy teeth."
A spokesman for the British Dental Association said: "If its true that chocolate does help reduce tooth decay and cavities that can only be a good thing, but you must remember that chocolate contains sugar.
"Our advice remains the same: if people want to eat candy and sweet drinks they should limit it, and visit the dentist regularly."

Can Acupuncture Really Help with Stress Relief
A simple trip to the bookstore is going to show you that there are many different ways in order for you to be able to relieve stress from your life naturally. There is no end to self-help books, and each of them is going to have a different angle on this problem. The difficulty is, many individuals are not going to be able to use each of these techniques in their own personal circumstances. It can be difficult, as a matter of fact, to weed through all the noise and really find the one that is going to work the best for you.

At times, you may need to forget all of the new things that are available and get back to the basics of how to truly reduce your stress. For example, the Chinese have been using acupuncture in order to reduce stress for thousands of years. This is a technique that is all natural and can help the body to do some amazing things, provided the acupuncture is administered properly. How well can it work for you and your stress levels?
The reason that acupuncture works so well is because it is based on an ancient Chinese principle that says that the body is full of energy and it is a free flow of this energy that keeps the body healthy. The unfortunate thing is, all of us have an imbalance of some sort or another and this imbalance can block the free flow of energy, causing physical and mental problems. That is what acupuncture was created for, as a way to stimulate areas of the body and release the energy that may be blocked at that point. This can have an amazing effect on our mental outlook.
If youre feeling stressed and are unsure what to do about it, going to an acupuncturist a few times may be able to help to release this energy and give you some relief from your stressful situations. Although an acupuncturist is not going to be able to take the stress out of your life by removing the situations that cause it, they can help you to give your body what it needs in a natural way that will allow it to cope successfully with the stress that is coming its way. Its an ancient art, but it is one that can still help us today to overcome our problems.

Actually, for those who want to stay young, no need to spend a lot of money to pay for beauty services or to purchase beauty products. Enough to take advantage of the fasting month. What is the scientific evidence?
Fasting will reduce or suspend physiological processes or metabolism in our body, especially in the digestive tract. Termination of the metabolic processes that take four series of processes that have a major impact on health.
When someone bepuasa mean it, first to limit the amount of food entering the digestive tract. Both he also has lowered the intensity of the digestive system.
And third, with the decline in the labor intensity, fell also the presence of toxins in the body, both endotoxins (toxins from the body itself) and exotoxin (toxins from outside the body). Fourth, the reduced material must be ingested will also make our bodies do not force yourself to secrete hormones and digestive enzymes on a large scale.
Imagine instead if Buddy did not fast? To be sure all the food that enters the body must digest. Inevitably, we will force our digestive organs to work harder.
Already a common understanding among the experts, which is referred to in essence is ageless aging process is inhibited. Among several theories of aging is the most famous one is the free radical theory that emerged in the 1950s.
Theory it reads, "if in our bodies by free radicals, the free radicals that are mobile (cell character) will destroy the cell wall. Destruction of the cell wall of aging will accelerate."
Fasting was potent protect cell walls. Cell wall can be maintained because there is no free radical or reduced because of fasting, then a young man "
There is a study which revealed that the fasting person, there will be reduction of MDA (melondealdehida) or free radicals are significantly up to 90%. Along with that, fasting increases antioxidant production by up to 15%.
So on one hand it was trimmed free radicals, on the other hand the enemies of free radicals or antioxidants improved. So we do not have to wonder anymore why fasting can make diligent young. see also why bad breath while fasting.

Carrot Can Be Natural Food Preservative
Three students of Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Yogyakarta utilize carrot extracts (Daucus carota) as an alternative to meatballs natural preservative.
"Carrots contain beta-carotene are antioxidants that prevent or inhibit fermentation, acidification or other decomposition of food caused by microorganisms," said one student Ardi in Yogyakarta on Monday.
According to her preservation by adding carrot extract also adds nutrients in foods that are healthier for consumption.
"Research on the use of carrot extract as a natural preservative meatballs we do with the extract to obtain the compound beta-carotene from carrot extract," he said.
He said the extract was expected to be an antioxidant that meatballs can be durable. Beta-carotene is an antioxidant compound on the meatballs to prevent and inhibit rancidity caused by air and microorganisms.
"The first stage in the research is a preparation of samples to be used. Carrot extract is made by blending carrots and squeezed," he said.
According to him the next extract is used for making meatballs. Once the meatballs so then tested in the laboratory peroxide numbers.
"From laboratory tests obtained when optimum preservation meatballs was on the fourth day," he said.
He said the meatballs into your favorite foods all walks of society, but the knowledge about the meatballs are safe and good to eat is still lacking.
This was evidenced by still many meatballs that contain borax and formaldehyde in the market and still be consumed. Though formalin and borax have impacts that are not good for health.
"Formaldehyde is not fit for use as an additive in foods and is classified as hazardous or toxic compounds," he said.
According to him meatballs contains high protein, with a high water content and acidity neutral so vulnerable to damage. Durable power meatball maximum one day at room temperature.
"That is the reason for the seller to take a shortcut by adding formalin to preserve meatballs. Formalin to extend the meatballs can last for three days, while a wet noodle up to five days," he said.
Two other students who participate in conducting these studies is Ari Purnomo and Herlinda Kusuma Wadani.

Dental Health Can Systemic Impact
Oral hygiene are important things that need to be maintained. Oral health is not only related to issues in aesthetics only, but also can cause serious health problems.
The emergence of diseases related to teeth such as caries (tooth decay) or periodontal disease (infection of the tooth / dental plaque), for example, can be fatal to the health of the body.
There are two types of disturbances in the teeth and mouth that can cause systemic disease.
If not addressed quickly can cause the microbes in dental plaque, spread and cause systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disorders, respiratory diseases, diabetes and even cause premature birth.
Caries or tooth decay is the disease on dental hard tissue that is email, dentin and cementum that ferment carbohydrates on the teeth.
Caries process is characterized by the occurrence of demineralization of dental hard tissue, followed by damage to organic materials that cause bacterial invasion and damage to the pulp tissue and spread infection to the periapical tissue and cause pain.
While periodontal disease is an infectious disease caused by bacteria that accumulate in the plaque, which causes gingival inflammation, so it is often also called plaque disease.
He said, just as other organs, oral cavity is a gathering place for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Oral bacteria can spread through the bloodstream, called bacteremia.
From the study reported that bacteremia occurred in 100 percent of patients after tooth extraction, 70 per cent after cleaning tartar, 55 percent after surgery three molars, and 20 percent after root canal treatment of teeth.
In normal oral health condition, only the number of bacteria that enter the bloodstream and not harmful. However, in individuals who have poor oral hygiene, then the number of bacteria on the surface of the teeth increased 20-10 times, so the chances of bacteremia to be larger.
Focal infection theory states that the infection in the oral cavity is responsible for the occurrence and development of three systemic namely cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus and atherosclerosis.
But of the three most influential are cardiovascular disease, because bacteria can gear directly into the body through the bloodstream. This shows that the teeth and oral cavity can function as a pathway for disease-causing microbes other body gets.
Although in some developing countries reportedly have been improved or improving oral health, but dental and oral health problems remains a challenge that needs filling.
In this case, it takes an active part of society to behave in a healthy life that starts from ourselves. Not enough just to keep the habit alone, but must also try to avoid some risk factors for oral disease such as smoking, alcohol and stress. Also, get used to a diet with balanced nutrition, reduce intake of sugar and and visit the dentist regularly at least twice a year.
It can be concluded that oral health is well maintained to prevent someone from suffering the risk of oral disease and systemic disease.

Efficacy Soybean Can Prevent Diabetes
It is unfortunate to see the fact that Indonesia has not been able to meet the needs of domestic soybean. Soybeans are considered trivial in fact contains many healthy nutrients. Even the so-called soy is one of the secrets of longevity of the Japanese.
Aside from being a source of macro nutrients, especially protein because it contains essential amino acids, soy also contains many vitamins and minerals phytochemicals.
Several studies have found a significant association between soy consumption with a reduced risk of non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, osteoporosis and diabetes. For people who are undergoing a diet, soy is one good choice because it contains a complex carbohydrate that makes the body early satiety.
The content of phytoestrogens in soy consumption is also considered good for menopausal women. After menopause, womens testosterone levels increase but decreases its estrogen. Testosterone is a male hormone and estrogen a characteristic typical of female hormones. This is what makes women menopause become more fierce and vulnerable to disease.
For people with diabetes, soy is very safe even recommended for consumption because it has a low glycemic index, which is about 15. The glycemic index is a measure of the speed of the food is absorbed into blood sugar. The higher the glycemic index of a food, the more rapid rise in blood sugar impact.
Foods with a high glycemic index, which is about 70-100, risky raise blood sugar and trigger diabetes. Diabetes itself may not be too harmful. The problem is, diabetes is often triggered the emergence of serious diseases such as hypertension, heart attack and stroke.
The Japanese are known to have life expectancy of the highest in the world, but they do not like to drink milk. Communities there prefer to consume soy milk and some soy products. Soybean is what makes Japanese people live longer.

HIV Testing Now Can Through the Gums
Health for human | In general, during this testing is done by a blood test, then in the near future will be much easier is by means of testing the gums. The test is claimed to be as accurate gums with HIV screening using blood. This laha discoveries in the field of new health so just wait. for the next info read the article below.

A new study conducted by researchers at McGill University, Quebec, found that HIV can be detected with an instrument attached to the gums. Such a device called OraQuick HIV1 / 2.
By comparing the five studies around the world, researchers found that the tool is 99 percent accurate for HIV testing in high-risk population and 97 percent in low-risk populations.
OraQuick HIV1 / 2 does not use saliva but absorb antibodies directly from blood vessels in the mucous membranes of the mouth. The assays will draw from a network of HIV antibodies in the cheek and gums, you can simply wait 20 minutes to see the results.
The study, published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases this weeks edition, has major implications for countries that want to adopt a strategy of self-testing for HIV.
HIV test orally (by mouth) has become one of the most popular test for acceptance and ease of use. Testing in this way can a non-invasive (no damage), pain-free and more convenient for users.
"Doing HIV testing at public clinics make people reluctant because of visibility, stigma, lack of privacy and discrimination. A confidential testing options such as independent testing (by means of OraQuick HIV1 / 2) could end the stigmatization associated with HIV testing," said Dr Pai.
